This documentation explains the Goldie City protocol design for a public audience.
How to read the docs
If you want a quick, accurate mental model:
- Overview — what the protocol enforces on-chain vs what is operational/off-chain.
- Glossary — consistent definitions for “ecosystem”, “issuer”, “roles”, “proof”, and “redemption”. (Optional: Glossary)
- Architecture — how the modules cooperate and where boundaries sit.
- Governance & RBAC — multi-tenant isolation and authority boundaries.
- Compliance / Pricing / Proof / Redemption — the core protocol capabilities.
What this is (and is not)
- This is protocol design documentation: it explains the system’s building blocks and the properties they provide.
- It is not a legal or regulatory opinion. Compliance policy is jurisdiction- and deployment-dependent.
- It does not publish personal data or operational customer specifics.
On-chain vs off-chain (one sentence)
Goldie City keeps identity, custody, and fulfillment off-chain while enforcing non-bypassable rules on-chain for governance, eligibility gating, pricing safety checks, proof records, and redemption audit trails.
