Operational maturity is part of protocol safety. While the protocol enforces key rules on-chain, real-world systems still require monitoring and governance processes.

What is monitored

• Oracle health and staleness
• Role changes and privileged actions
• Proof freshness and approaching expiry
• Redemption lifecycle anomalies (backlogs, unusual state transitions)

Governance processes

• Role administration: periodic access review and least privilege
• Upgrades: rehearsed procedures, change control, observable on-chain execution
• Incidents: key compromise response, oracle outages, proof delays
